Wolmer's Hockey Revamp
One of our first priorities as a club is to revamp the Wolmer's hockey programme — and we need the Raiders community, parents, relatives, sponsors and friends behind it.
What we proposed
The plan hinges on an aggressive recruitment drive over the next few months, built around visibility, engagement and fun — challenges with prizes that pull boys into the sport and keep them there.
The school expressed enthusiasm and support, even committing to back our request to host a flagship 5-a-side indoor tournament in the auditorium this academic year, among other commitments, as a show of faith in the programme we have proposed.
What it takes to run the recruitment drive, support the team, and host the flagship indoor tournament properly. Pledges of cash, goods and services all count toward the target.

How the drive works
Get hockey in front of every Wolmer's boy — PE sessions, assemblies, posters and demo games on campus.
Recruitment drives during PE and after school, with Raiders players on the ground running the sessions.
Skills challenges and mini games with real prizes, so turning up is worth it from day one.
Hosting multiple small challenges and competitions leading up to the major tournament/showcase event — date to be announced.

There is a lot of work needed to make sure the plan is executed well. We're asking the Raiders community, parents, relatives, sponsors and friends to help out wherever they can.
